Daniel Orson Kleinman Jr.

Dan Kleinman, also known as "Farmer Dan" by the students at

Jewell School.  For 30 years Dan and his wife lived in the house which is now Jewell School. In 2021, they sold their house on Mandarin Drive to Jewell School Founder, Ms. May Jewell.  Lucky for Dan, Ms. May leased the orchard to him and has him do occasional Friday morning agriculture classes at her school which allows Dan to still feel like he has a stake in the property and is happy to help out with the kids who seem to really love the place.
